Sound Explorations combines the worlds of music and science to make scientific discovery accessible to all.

One of their current projects is Whales in Motion: A Musical and Sculptural Experience for the Blind and Low Vision Community.

How is works is people’s hands trace the whale foraging behavior sculptures as the musician performs action-specific melodies that match the same shape and contour, while keeping in time with the motion of the person's hand.
