Océano en Señas/ The Ocean in Signs

Océano en Señas is a pioneering project in Colombia, led by INVEMAR and involving the Colombian d/Deaf community. Its objective is to generate a vocabulary of terms associated with the Ocean in Colombian Sign Language.

“Join us on this journey full of learning, visualise the signs proposed by the project (which have been previously discussed and socialised with a focus group of deaf people from different cities in the country - Bogotá, Santa Marta, San Andrés), memorise them and share them. Knowing and conserving the OCEAN is everyone's responsibility.”
