Sign Language Video Guidelines
The Deaf community relies a lot on videos, both in informal and formal communication. What changes, of course, is the editing format since the aim is different: in the first case, videos are not edited at all because they are used just for the communication within the group of friends/relatives/colleagues… In the second case, videos are edited and arranged with the purpose of being widespread on official platforms and channels. Within the Thalassophile Project, the videos that are going to be delivered are formal ones with specific rules for the editing. Here we have compiled a useful guide to recording videos in Sign Language.
