Klimahaus Exhibit

Location: Bremerhaven, Germany

Bremerhaven's Klimahaus takes many innovative pedagogical approaches as it invites learner to walk a path around the world, and observe the social and environmental challenges of climate change first hand. In the Antarctic exhibition room, the temperature drops to below freezing - so remember to always take a shawl, even in the height of summer! In the room we find out about how scientists are measuring the health of the frozen ocean, and the impact of the huge changes taking place there. As you exit, you are invited to feel for yourself the conditions Antarctic researchers work in, by feeling how cold the ice is by sticking your hands in the frozen wall.
